Rev. Jeff Howard

Rev. Jeff Howard left a successful career in technology and his home in Northern Virginia to follow God's call into ordained ministry. While in the Washington, D.C. area, he served the National Presbyterian Church as a Deacon and Bible teacher. In 2004, he attended Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, California, to become a pastor. He married his wife, Grace, in 2005 while both were studying for the ministry.

 

Jeff was ordained as a Minister of the Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in 2007. His first call as pastor was for a redeveloping church in Los Angeles. He then returned to the East Coast, where he served as Interim Pastor for several churches in Delaware and Maryland for New Castle Presbytery. Jeff retired from full-time ministry in 2022 and accompanied Grace for her call to First Presbyterian Church of Mt. Vernon. He is currently serving Eastminster Presbyterian Church as Bridge Pastor.

Jeff and Grace live in Evansville. They have two married sons and three grandsons, whom they will be visiting next month on the East Coast.
