Eastminster is unique in that it includes a very active Christianity and the Arts series underwritten by a modest endowment.  Since 2004 the mission of Eastminster’s Christianity and the Arts endowment has been to draw in and enlighten people on how the arts can inspire our faith and express our human experiences.  Music, dramatic, and other sacred art programs are offered throughout the year for the entire Tri-State Community.  As part of the series, Eastminster is home to the Evansville Bach Singers which was founded in 2011 by Dennis Malfatti, past Director of Music at Eastminster Presbyterian Church. The goal of the ensemble is the exploration and performance of sacred cantatas by J.S. Bach and related works.
